Shimmer is a Rotterdam based exhibition space that operates with an ever-changing studio-like mentality where knowledge arises through participation and experimentation. Shimmer was founded by Eloise Sweetman and Jason Hendrik Hansma. During 2020–2021 Shimmer started publishing under the moniker Shimmer Press, so far they have released a set of postcards, a t-shirt and they are working on several book projects.

The t-shirt reads "Shimmer, when all you love is being trashed", referencing a lecture given by anthropologist and feminist theorist Deborah Bird Rose in 2014. Her talk champions love and sincerity in a world of greed and denigration. Below the quote it documents a list of show titles since 2018.
